Mesmerized! The Game of Hypnotic Power Play (Concept)

So one of my long term pipe dream projects (Project 27d, I think) is to create a mind control based hypnotic card game, where the players are all hypnotized at the beginning of the game, and then play cards on one another. Some will energise them and wake them up a little, some will space them out or slow them down.

Everyone has ten “Will” points at the start of the game, and as the game progresses and hypnotic cards are played on one another, everyone’s will decreases until each player in turn reaches zero.

When your will is at zero, you’re “captured” by whichever player took you down, and the strategy of the game revolves around “waking” other players before your opponents can capture them, and timing your use of cards correctly so you can capture them yourself.

All the while any time a hypnotic card is played on you, you’re compelled to follow the instructions within that card for the round / multiple rounds / the rest of the evening (depending on how you want to play the game.)

Anyway… I’m currently juggling fatherhood, the hypno business and awaiting the arrival of mini-me mk 2, so getting anything actually finished is going to be a while…

But there’s no harm in showing a few bits and bobs as they develop, right? 😉

It’s still just a loose concept, but card game kinksters, feel free to prod me with your ideas. I’ll try to credit everyone whose ideas I use.
