IS THIS REAL? AREN’T THESE PAID MODELS?

Yep, performers are paid for their time and the rights to the footage, but not to fake anything. The hypnosis contained within my videos is real, and as such, I make sure that everyone who stars in a session is happy with everything they’ll be doing whilst under its effects. Suggestions are loosely planned in advance based on performers skills, preferences and comfort levels, but no videos under the Entrancement banner are staged or scripted.

Depth of trance can vary. Light trances can both feel and look like roleplay (though you’ll find breaking character becomes a lot less common.) Deep trances (which I always want to aim for) can look like magic, seeing someone’s perceptions, memories and behaviour transforming in an instant.

WHAT DOES TRANCE FEEL LIKE?

This depends on you. If you’re a little hesitant or cautious about the idea, you’ll probably be fully aware of everything happening whilst you’re under, but find yourself feeling very comfortable, chilled out, uninhibited, and open to suggestions.

If you’re very comfortable and relaxed about the idea, and find it very easy to engage with, you might find you blank out and come to your senses later with no recall of your time under. Generally people remember as much or as little as they want to once they wake, though I tend to leave you with the suggestion to remember everything afterwards just fine, as it makes for a fun conversation at the end of the shoot as you talk about what it was like being hypnotized.

CAN YOU BE HYPNOTIZED TO DO THINGS YOU DON’T WANT TO DO?

Nope. All hypnosis is self hypnosis (to some degree). You can only be hypnotized if you’re comfortable, and feel safe and happy with the person doing the hypnotizing. Even if you do consciously find yourself switching off, your subconscious is always aware and able to keep you safe. That way if a hypnotist were to suggest anything unethical: (Work for free! / Work to harder levels!) you’d be fully able to snap out of it, wake from trance, and give the git a slap. 😛

You can be compelled to do things that you are comfortable doing, which is where a lot of the fun in the shoots comes from. (Like finding yourself feeling argumentative… but the moment music plays, your feet take on a mind of their own and “force” you to dance. Or being stark naked, but believing and insisting that you’re wearing a beautiful dress and you can’t understand why I seem to think that you’re nude.)

If you’re still not entirely sure about the idea, you’re welcome to contact anyone I’ve worked with previously and ask privately about the experience, to bring along a friend or chaperone, and if you wish, we can do a fantasy shoot instead (see below.)

SO CAN ANYONE BE HYPNOTIZED?

Almost everyone who wants to be can be hypnotized, so long as you’re actually interested and consenting, open minded, comfortable with the person doing it and able to focus it usually goes pretty well. It can also help if you’re submissive, particularly into the idea of have experience with Yoga or Meditation. Saying that, not everyone wants to be hypnotized, which is why I do have a fantasy brand of videos too that are a little more scripted.

SO WHAT IF SOMEONE DOESN’T WANT TO BE HYPNOTIZED?

My main area of interest is in genuine hypnosis sessions wherever possible. If folk just want to dip their toes in some of the themes of trance and hypno play without being genuinely hypnotized, (and so no-one feels they have to fake it) I do offer a second line of videos under my HypnoDolls banner. Also the majority of the PHOTOs I take do NOT feature genuine hypnosis (unless stated otherwise.). Photoshoots work well for ice-breaking / introducing ideas, and doing them before we do any real hypnosis keeps everything low pressure when I’m working with someone for the first time.

WHAT IS HYPNOSIS?

Hypnosis is a natural state of mind that most people enter several times a day without even realising it. Feeling emotionally involved personally during a sad (or happy) part in a movie. Getting caught up in a good story. Finding your way home automatically. Daydreaming and losing track of time. In those states of mind you become relaxed, and open to suggestion. The analytical part of your mind stops paying so much attention to what you’re doing, which is why you find yourself able to believe more completely in the movie or story in front of you. On one level, you know that what you’re watching and reading isn’t *really* real… but you find yourself emotionally and mentally connecting with it as though it was anyway.

Hypnosis is a deeper form of that relaxation. A person in hypnosis is much more open to suggestion than they would be normally. A hypnotist can suggest to a person in trance that they feel happy… or sexy… or weightless… or that they have a sudden driving need to stand up and shout “Monkeys!” and as long as the person in the trance is happy with the suggestion, that’s exactly how they’ll feel.

A hypnotized person won’t do anything within trance that they wouldn’t want to do ordinarily. (That’s why our sessions feature paid models under hypnosis. Undressing, posing and being photographed is part of their everyday work, so for the most part, they’re as happy to do it in hypnosis as they would be outside trance.)

If a person is comfortable with the hypnotist, they’ll accept and follow suggestions that they’re given, even though to their normal waking mind, the suggestions might seem a little strange.

AND “EROTIC” HYPNOSIS?

Erotic hypnosis isn’t too different, but obviously involves giving the suggestions a sexier twist.
